Friday, October 3, 2014 Laundry Day

After several days in Santa Barbara, we’ve created a routine.  Peter pours our coffee about 7 am.  By 8 am we are in the dinghy motoring the quarter mile from our anchorage to the marina.  Once there, we tie up the dinghy at the dinghy dock and walk to the beach.  A running/walking trail takes us 2.6 miles to the Corrillo Boat House.

Then we walk back along the beach.

Laundry Day

Today I decided to try out the Wonder Wash.

This awesome contraption will wash up to 5 pounds of laundry.  You put the clothes in the top, add soap and water and use the crank to rotate the drum for a while.  When it feels like your arm is about to fall off, you drain the water out the bottom, refill with fresh water and crank again to rinse.

WaLaa!
