Woke up:  Chula Vista Marina, Chula Vista, California

Went to sleep:  Chula Vista Marina, Chula Vista, California

Marina Living

We woke today at the Chula Vista Marina, Chula Vista, California. This is the first time we’ve been in a marina since Morro Bay, September 28th.  It is an undescribable luxury to have unlimited electricity, water, Wi Fi, sunshine, laundry facilities, TV channels, 500 yards to the General Store which boasts a quarter machine and no rocking at all ever.

Peter and I went for our first-day-reconnaissance run to identify the location of the grocery store, barber shop, liquor store, etc.

After lunch, I scrubbed the outside of Penelope from bow to stern, first down the port side, then down the starboard side, with a sponge.

I’m pooped! That’s a very big boat and a very little sponge.

Later I soaked my aching back in the outdoor hot tub. Ahhhhhh . . .
