Woke up: Ensenada Gabriele, Isle Spiritu Santo, Mexico

Today I earned my first dollar writing. Seven hundred fifty words and one photo. An amount that just about pays for a week at the Marina. I’m off on a roll. I have 1000s of ideas of things to write about. I have an encouraging editor and Peter says, “I want you to do whatever makes you happy.”
My morning meditation revolved around several dozen shrimp. Shelling shrimp is a chore.
I decided to make it a meditation. As I shelled each shrimp, I counted to myself. One one thousand, two one thousand, three one thousand. Did you know it takes between three and eight seconds to shell a shrimp? The really pesky ones can take up to ten seconds.
I had a number of really good ideas while my brain was relaxed enough to let in good ideas. Ideas I shared with Peter and began to implement soon after breakfast.
Plus we had an amazing shrimp, scrambled eggs and grated cheese breakfast.
