New Circulation Pump

This morning I cleaned “house” while Peter hauled 15 kilos of laundry in the dinghy to the lavenderia.

At 12:30, I was back at the VIP lounge for Spanish class.  Now that we are going to be in a single place for a known period of time I can connect and make commitments.

Our refrigerator stopped working.  Using his priceless Volt-Ohm meter Peter traced the problem to the cold water recirculation pump.  He took it out, looked it over, and declared it toast.  Soon he was off on the bus in search of a marine store and a new pump.

Several hours later we again had refrigeration.  Peter said it was a 30 minute job with 5 hours of technical difficulties.  But, he got ‘er done.

Only one problem, the new pump is so loud it sounds like a jet engine landing on the settee.  Knowing Peter, we will soon be buying a different circulation pump and the jet engine will become a spare.
