That’s Why They Call It Work
It’s hard having a “job”. Every morning the alarm goes off at 6:00 am. Peter makes the coffee and wakes me when it is ready. I relocate to the “living room” and he serves my coffee just the way I like it. Hot with lots of milk.
By 8:30 we are dressed and packed and in the dinghy racing across the bay to the marina amphitheater where yoga begins at 9:00 am. I try to get there a few minutes early to get settled and focused before class begins.
Two weeks into it and I have a number of ladies who come regularly. But, it’s a job! Every day Monday through Friday I have to go to work. By Saturday I am exhausted and looking forward to sleeping in.
Tuesday’s are doubly busy. Spanish class at 12:30 pm. Last class we were given 65 verbs to learn. I printed the verbs on 3” x 5” index cards with Spanish on one side and English on the other. Each day I take the cards to the guard shack at the marina entrance and practice with my buddies. They read the card in Spanish, I mimic their pronunciation and then we all try to remember what it means in English. It’s really fun and I’m actually making some progress. “Poco a Poco”
