The Sunday Market

The Sunday Market is delightful.  Like most Sunday Markets you can find fresh, local, organic vegetables, hand crafted trinkets and ornaments, t-shirts, honey, pasta, oils and vinegars, bread and scones, ice cream, jewelry, dresses, and all the rest I can’t remember.  Many of the booths offer free samples of their product so you can eat and drink your way down the malecon while seeing friends and listening to a local band set up in a nearby courtyard.

They even offer yoga.

Yoga Class

Peter and I went for a run together along the malecon.  We timed it so we would be back and I could be at yoga at 10:00 am.  Peter sat nearby visiting with our friends, Vandy and Eric, from Scoots while I did the class.  Very fun!

Birthday Party

In the afternoon, we were invited to a surprise birthday party by the pool.  The party wasn’t exactly for Peter but I made sure everyone at the party knew it was his birthday, too.  It made it kind of festive for him.

This is me, hiding behind a tree, so as not to give away the surprise.  Becky is hiding behind me.
