Baseball in Turtle Bay

The entire town is buzzing.  Today is the big baseball game between the local team, the Tortugas, and the visiting team, the Ozos (Bears).  The Ozos have travelled from a small island located off Punta de Tortuga.  They came by ponga to play the number two team.

The game cost $10 pesos each.  They are selling candy, chips, and pop at the concession stand.  They are unable to sell cervezas today as tomorrow is the national election.  No beer today and no beer tomorrow.

After the game, we walk back to the pier and call Enrique for a ride home to Penelope.

So Enrique is still the water taxi guy. Your posts bring back good memories. Do you have to climb the rotten ladder from his taxi to the pier? Love to see a picture, if possible. Maybe, you have already left the bay and on the way to San Diego.
